Contemporary artist Steve Maloney is partnering with Light Horse Legacy, a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization supporting Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) veterans and a USA Vietnam War Commemorative Partner. They have provided him with a bone yard Vietnam Huey helicopter he will then transform into a fine art sculpture. It will travel to six national venues over the next three years to help bring awareness to all Veterans suffering with PTSD as well as honoring Vietnam Veterans for the 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War. Accompanying the art will be a short documentary film, a heartfelt song and a cutting edge website he commissioned that pays homage to this iconic war bird as a taxi from hell to heaven.
