I remember getting resupplied by chopper while on a 21 day mission West of Hill 350 by Danang. We had to blow an LZ and the pilot came in and hovered about 10 feet off the ground and “dumped our chow and ammo”. I remember that the helicopter blades were inches from the surrounding trees and actually clipped some of the trees while it was unloading. Great pilots on that mission. God Bless those guys.
