Charlie Company Vietnam 1966-1972 
My Name is Ray Millward and I live in Pocatello, Idaho. I read an article in the Idaho State Journal asking for information about Dennis Jones one of the soldiers in your Battalion. I talked to Dennis a few years ago in Salt Lake City Utah. He was working in a Jewelry Store. I don’t recall which one it was but it was in a Mall there in Salt Lake and think he was the manager. Dennis and I ran around together in High School and graduated from Highland High School in Pocatello in 1965. I would like to help you more but I haven’t kept as in touch with him. Lost for words with your photo presentation and the music of our days in Nam. I wish I could remember more of who all the troopers were and of the experiences we shared! You have done a great job on posting all the pictures and of keeping up with as many men as you have; thanks!

Fred, The pictures of before and after are great along with the music. It was so long ago yet seems like only yesterday. Proud to have served with Charlie company and in some ways I miss those days when our hearts were young and touched with fire.
We faced the incommunicable experiance of war…
We felt, we still feel a passion for life to its top…
In our youth our hearts were touched with fire….

Just found website and looked at Dick Snow photos. I replaced Bishop as squad leader and later was medevac back to states.Hope all is well

Hi Fred,
My name is Helen and I see you listed a Dolphy Stevens, I was wondering if you had a little more detail about him, he is my Uncle and we are unable to locate him presently.
I just wanted to know if you remember if he was a Jamaican or anything else that maight help us in figuiring out a starting point in trying to locate him.

We used a picture taken in Vietnam by another soldier. We do not know how to contact him. I am very sorry and wish you good luck.

Thanks for the posting the pics and “Lighting Our Fire”; always so thankful that you are doing all you can to bring forward the names/photos of those we served with including the men who made the ultimate sacrifice; to be remembered for all they did for our fellow soldiers. “Greater love hath no man than to give ones life for another! “I think that we who served knew the risks we took might lead to us not making it back home. Life now has a special flavor that only those who went through similar experiences will cherish! See you in Colorado Springs! AT EASE!

Lost my brother Phillip Coleman on Oct. 29, 1966. Would love to see some pictures from that time. I think 10 of our boys were lost that day with my brother.
