Hi Fred, in retirement I am looking at various VN memoirs and yours is a fine one. I had a chance to get into army bands early but did not go due to wanting to go to OCS. It was in the engineers and my VN experience was relatively safe (always around Qui Nhon harbor in 1967). In later years I have wished I went into army music because it would have been great training and experience.
have a question though,
after the army did you get back into doing music?

Just for a little while. I had to create a future and some earning power.
